Hi, looking for jewelry experts. I have a glass bead necklace that is 56" long. The beads have floating confetti and gold foil. The beads are strung on a plastic cord. It has a barrel clasp. I am wondering if the beads are old and have been restrung or if it is just a reproduction?
Is that plastic cord clear like a monofilament (fishing line)? Or possibly stretchy (like memory wire)? I'm guessing that that's gold colored thread which is wrapping between the beads (or are those beads as well?), and appears that the necklace has been remade. The glass beads are very pretty.
