Need help dating handbag plz

Hi All,

I found this adorable bag at an estate sale. I am thinking 1950s, but I would like your opinion. The name on the mirror is Pallizzio. Thank you!

That is adorable!

The print and the slightly elongated shape are suggesting 1940s to me, but I'd be interested to hear what others think.

I am thinking late 1950's. I acquired one that is very similar with a matching hat! I verified this date of late '50's with the previous owner who was on sight that day! I wished I had a photo....I may try to do one for you. Is the print material on your bag sort of a canvass type material or smooth cloth...can't quite tell from the pics. I do love the sweet print....good find!

The fabric looks like linen to me.

Yep, that's what the one I have is...has a little weave instead of being a smooth cotton or polished cotton.
