Need Help Dating Hats....

Hi there!

New to the board, although not new to Fashion and Vintage...
Need a little help dating these hats:
1. Black felt bucket hat...is it 60's/70's???
2. Taupe Hattie Carnegie quilted hat-60's? And what would I call the style?
It's not quite floppy or bucket.

Hi Adelina,

The Hattie Carnegie hat looks 1970's to me.

The felt bucket hat looks like a new-ish reproduction. The fuzzy texture and the skinny string band and casual bow doesn't seem old, but it would help if you could show pictures of the inside construction and any labels.

I agree 70's on the Hattie Carnegie, and I would say early to maybe 1974 or so. AsOoko says, it would help on the first to see the interior and/or labels, if any. I would more expect a wide ribbon around the crown instead of cord for the 60s.

I also have another teal hat-I think 70's as well? Is says Union made.

the plush is 70's.. and cute as can be
the black one does look like a repro, but I think it might be an 80's.. so still vintage
