Hi Everyone,
Would you say this is 60s or 70s?
Also, I'm assuming the velcro to keep the belt in place (which looks not great to my eye) was an alteration someone made after the fact? Not sure if I can fix that?
Can't find anything on that furrier and am assuming that the K.E. Biggar was the owners name?
Thanks in advance.
Lauren

I agree with '60s - it's a lovely coat and agree that the velcro isn't original, but it might be that the belt is a replacement, although the buckle and width do seem to fit the coat. Because of the stitching, I wouldn't remove it so you should probably leave as is. It's easy enough to use another belt if it offends (I would).

K.E. Biggar is likely to be the original wearer, yes.
