Need help dating/pricing what seems like a very RARE Lanz vest. Ski-Lanz?

I bought this vest recently at a thrift shop; it struck me as being old but I don't know whether or not to trust the date on the label. ALSO---I saw a post on Lanz labels, and this one wasn't there. I can't find anything about it online (yet). The vest is marked as a size 13 and fits like a M. The fur is definitely real, but again, I've never seen anything like it. Tight, incredibly soft curlicues. I am considering selling it, but I want to know what the deal is before I make any decisions.

A type of sheep's wool, it looks that I've had lining some footwear.

I've had similar in vintage men's gloves. Agree it's probably sheep, or more specifically lamb, of some kind.

Looks like lambswool to me too and I believe the REG stands for registered in 1939 so that doesn't necessarily make it the year it was made. Sorry, the VFG doesn't offer pricing suggestions.

I agree with Rita in that a label with the date "1939" doesn't necessarily mean much. Your garment is a tricky one to date but I think it's early to mid 1970s.
