Need help dating snakeskin clutch

There are no labels or tags on this snakeskin clutch. Three of the four snaps on the detachable strap do not match a fourth plain one. I got this piece at a rummage sale for 10¢.

Any help is really appreciated! Please let me know if I can provide any more useful information. I'm wondering what era it might have come from or what its value might be. I've never owned anything like this before and would like to be a little more informed when showing it off!

It looks 80s to me. I would suggest checking completed auctions or listings on a site like ebay to see what these are fetching these days.

I have the same problem all the time with purses. First of all that clutch is amazing. I love it. MAKE SURE there are no markings on the purse. Are those crowns on the metal snaps? If so, include that in you search. Go to Etsy, Ebay, Google images, Google shopping...that is where I usually find what I am looking for but be specific when searching. Mention that it is striped, diagonal, has removable strap, has crown buttons.... Its beautiful though either way. You could sell that in 2 seconds - or keep and be happy!
