Need help dating & taxating ivory necklace

Hello all!

I have this elephant-necklace of which I believe is ivory.
(Did the hot-needle test. It smelled like burned hair and the needle left no mark. Also, when holding the pendant to the light, it has a slightly transparant look and some beads show veins. The overall feel is organic, not plastic).

I'm not an expert in vintage jewlrey at all, and could use some help dating it.

The large pendant and the smaller beads all show elephants. The shapes of the smaller beads are irregular, so my gues would be handmade. The closure shows some green oxidation.
Some of the beads show a yellowish discoloration.

Would love to hear what you think!

Thanks x

On my computer screen, the beads look like some kind of rock and the large pendant looks like it was carved from bone or seashell. Ivory, even when it was legal to hunt and import, has always been a fairly expensive material, so it would more likely be carved by an artist with better craftsmanship.
