need help dating this AMAZING dress

This is an Original Lanz of Austria...looks to me to be a 1950's style, but I know this line because of it's folk inspiration can be difficult to date..this would fit the bill.... My guess is that is is a 1950's piece but this particular label dates to the 1930's as well...any thoughts....Thanks!

...I should also add that the fabric is a very heavy wool and the bodice has faceted jet buttons up the front...

I love Lanz dresses of all eras, and yours is divine! I was going to say that I thought it might date from the 50s into the early/mid 60s. Lanz is famous for not being "cutting edge" in its design, so that sometimes you will see what "looks" to be an earlier style in a later timeframe. The skirt of this looks a bit shorter on the form than I would have thought for a solid 50's dress. But it's hard to tell length on a form, and Jonathan knows more than I do, so he's likely right!
