Need help dating this top

Hello All,
This is my first time posting here so if I am doing something wrong sorry!

I have this black rayon top. The back zips with a metal zipper. The top is covered in rows of black fringe and at the top of each row of fringe there is a row of black sequins. The bottom of the top is a thick puckered elastic black band hand stitiched to the top. The label in the top is Marguery. It was my grandmothers and most of her fancier things were from the 1930's. The is serging around the armhole seams and bias tape is applied over the neck seam. Thanks in advance for any help.

That is cute! Gosh thats a toughie. Do you have a close up of the label? Any union labels or anything else?

Is that a separating zipper or is it shorter?
 
That is a great top!

With the combination of fringe and sequins, the wide fitted waist, and the label and back zipper, I would think early to mid 1950s , perhaps very late 40s.

'The bottom of the top is a thick puckered elastic black band hand stitiched to the top. ' Well that mixes things up a bit. It may have been a dress at one point. I think it looks to be 1950's.
 
The bottom of the blouse that is stitched to the waist band is also serged the way the arm seams are and the zipper that is original to the shirt goes through the waistband...the zipper is totally cool...when it is zipped it is hidden! I have never seen that before::scratchchin:
 
I imagine it had a long black skirt, perhaps even fringed itself. The line of the sleeves and that waist treatment look late 40s to me.
