Hi! This is my first post here. I have a dress that a friend gave me a few years ago, that was from a vintage shop. It has no labels. It seems like maybe 80s, but someone told me it seems like it could be even older, so I thought I'd get some opinions. Also, I'm unsure about the fabric type.
My best guess for the fabric is polyester, but possibly rayon? It is very light and slightly sheer, and it has a kind of static electricity that causes it to cling to itself sometimes.
It has elastic shirring along the shoulders, collar, and at the cuffs, and the loops for the buttons are elastic as well.
The print has metallic golden highlights.
