Hi Everyone,
I was hoping you could help me date this dress. I'm guessing eighties because of the shoulder pads. But I wanted to be double check. It's 80 percent Polyester and 20 percent metallic and in case you can't see in the photos, it's got an elastic waist. Apologies if the photos are blurry. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Nu Mode is, I think, out of business now but they were in business from about 1947 to 1992. I would have to double check the dates but its around that time... They made affordable dresses for working class women. Their labelling didn't change over the years. This dress is probably mid 80s and it uses the same Nu-Mode label you would find in the late 1940s.

Looks 80s to me.

I have a cute summer dress that I like very much and wear a lot which is by Nu Mode (I actually bought it in Toronto). I'm guessing it is late 70s/early 80s. The label is the same. So, thanks for that bit of information on Nu Mode too :duh:!
