I agree with Mary Jane on early 1950s. The style is a sailor. The hat is very nicely made, I love the way the stripes have been matched, the curved seaming and chevron effect of the crown, the swirl on the brim, and the milliner added an extra touch of that black faille fabric lining. I can tell this was made by a very talented milliner who paid attention to the finest detail.
