Hi! I joined this forum JUST to post about these shoes. I have searched for a couple hours on what the stamp inside these amazing shoes could tell me. They might not be vintage at all, but I'm hoping you all can help. I'm in love with these shoes! There are no other markings besides what is pictured, no brand name, nothing.

Thank you!

Hello, welcome to the VFG forum!
I would say your shoes date from the 1970's. At this time, wedges, the colour brown and lace ups were all popular. The style goes back to the mid 1940's when similar shoes were being made, but your shoes have the material content marked on them, (I can read "man made sock & insole") which only really appears after various laws in many countries are introduced in the early 1970's requiring this information to be marked.
We can't tell you much about the markings because apart from the material content and size, the rest have individual meanings to the company that manufactured them, often relating to the last used, or style/design, or even stage in the manufacturing process. Although they appear to have a year marked in them, 9/10 times it is just coincidence the mark happens to resemble a year.
The size is 7 1/2 A over AAA (US sizing). One of these is the width of the front toe section, the other the heel I believe.
The labels in shoes from this time, on that sort of coated man made insole often rub or wear away after not too many uses. They may never have had a brand or logo inside, but you may be able to see the 'shadow' of the mark that could once have been printed/stamped there by holding it up to direct natural light from a window, often all that remains is the contrasting matt/shiny areas.
