Hi,

So I don't know much about different types of fabric.
And yes, I have seen the fabric resource, but there are so many different types of fabric and they all seem to look the same, so maybe you can help me out.

I have a dress in this sheer fabric
I was in Hamburg the other day and a woman of the vintage store had a 50's dress in the same fabric (really pretty, but it was cut out at the bust, it was horrible, who does that?).
But anyway, she told me that it was a kind of crepe? And that the fabric was only used till the 60's? I don't know if she is right..?

It looks like a printed cotton piqué to me. The pink and green color scheme looks '60's but this type of fabric is still available today. It is used in clothing for dresses and bathrobes.
