Need help identifying gold fabric - is it lame\'? Matelasse\'?

I have a question about this gold dress.... Not sure what type of fabric it is or how to describe it. Also, want to confirm that it's from the 60s.

I would call it a lurex thread brocade

I agree with Jonathan, although I usually call it metallic brocade - agree with '60s too.
