Need help identifying vintage coat I want to sell

I was given a coat that I want to investigate. It is a 34 inch black fur coat from Coulters of Los Angeles. It is a quite heavy coat, lined beautifully. I believe it is fairly old, but not entirely sure of the age or the type of fur it is. I also am at a loss about where to sell it. I am not a fan of eBay nor any online exposure to sell it.

It is in excellent condition, no tears or damage.

Can any one here let me know anything about the coat and tips on where to take it to sell it?

It seems Coulter's finished sometime in the 1960s/70s.

If you're against selling online, your only option may be your local Facebook Marketplace, or a local vintage shop may take it on. An auction house is unlikely to be interested unless it's a collected designer name or a high end fur type.
I live in a large metropolitan area and fur coats are the most common type of vintage clothing found at estate/tag sales. It's what people saved since they were costly and valued when new. Prices now are usually modest.

Looks to be from the 1940s, possibly late 1930s. Hard to tell for sure from just the photos but it has that look. The fur is what they used to call Hudson Seal, which is not seal fur but another fur such as rabbit, another small mammal, etc dyed to resemble seal fur. It was very popular in the 30s and 40s.

Thanks for the insight. what do you feel would be my best option to get it looked at and perhaps valued. I live in Arlington Washington

I find coats in general an increasingly hard sell, and fur coats even harder unless they have a designer label or are high end fur like mink, fox, etc. Coats are heavy and bulky, therefore expensive to ship, so you are right to be wary about that. Fur is less sought after than it once was, and condition is crucial.

Your best bet might be to take it to a local consignment shop to ask for an opinion.
