Need help identifying vintage fur - new to site excited to be here!

Hello All,

I recently purchased this beautiful coat at an estate sale. The people running the sale assured me they had proof that it was from Saks 5th Ave., but were not able to supply any paper work. I still purchased because I loved the look of the coat. The collar looks like mink, and I believe after some research that the body of the coat is sheared mink. There is no tag in the coat - only leopard print lining and the name of previous owner embroidered in gold. Any help will be much appreciated. I am new to learning about vintage fashion so I am excited to have found this group. Thanks!!

Beautiful. The collar and cuff are natural length mink fur and the body is sheared ribbed mink. The jacket looks fairly contemporary, possibly 90s or newer.
 
Thank you so much for the confirmation. I have never seen sheared mink before so was thrown off a bit. It is super soft. I really appreciate your help!
