The contrast on the black and white photography has distorted the image so much I doubt you could ever figure out exactly what it is. I can't even tell if the wearer is a man or woman - I see some wattling which suggests an older woman, but I'm not sure.
A 49 year old woman. I know the chances are slim, but I'd still like to find out the maker and style. I'm writing a book about her and there's no such thing as too small a detail.
