Need Help on Youth Guild Dress

Hello everyone!

I have this Youth Guild Dress..the label doesn't match any on the label resource list. It is a ruffle wrap around dress..the seams are pinked and the length is 3/4...any clues as to when this is from? here are some pics...thanks in advance for any help!

I'll take a stab at this Janice. I went googling and found a dress that strikes me as similar to yours in cut and style. The dress was done by Liz Claiborne back in her Youth Guild days. She joined the Youth Guild label in 1960 under Jonathan Logan and worked there until the label folded in 1975.

If I am correct (please anyone else with better information chime in) then I would say your dress is 1970s. Hopefully a real expert will come and help you out.
 
Thanks Marge! Yes, that dress is totally like mine! I was thinking 70's but the pinking threw me! Thanks Susan..I pray it will do well! And now I know who designed it too...yippee!!

PS I did do open and ended searches on ebay and hardly any sellers take pics of labels.:wacko:
