Need help w/ a Mets T-shirt pls~

This feels like a 70's to me, but I'm uncertain- It's that "vinyl" feel logo screen print- quality & professionally done, made by "Gator Athletics" Poly/Cotton nice quality.

The last pic shows the remains of flocked iron on lettering - should I try to remove this or leave it alone?

OK...this is more my era! I have just purchased an old t-shirts shop deadstock and I have those shirts and they were from the late 70's early 80's
