How to add pictures, slides or videos to your posts
To insert a picture or image into your post, follow these steps:
1. You'll need to have your picture hosted on an online 'image host'. In a separate window, open your 'image' and get the url address. The address will look something like this:
http://img.inkfrog.com/pix/jls502/ca5.jpg
2. Highlight and copy that url from the 'address' box in your browser.
3. Back here at the VFG, start your thread and type your message in the blue box. When you come to the point where you want to add your photo, hit enter as if starting a new paragraph.
4. Click on the "Insert An Image" icon. The icon is above the message box in the little row of icons (7th from left, 4th from right).
5. A 'pop-up' will be displayed. It will ask you to insert the URL for the image. Note that there is already a highlighted "http://" shown in the box.
6. Paste your image URL in the box. If it is done properly, you'll only have ONE "http://" in the address. If there are two, delete one of them.
7. Click Okay.
8. Your image should now be showing in your post!
