Need help with dating and provenance of two winter coats/cloaks - Part one

I have here a fantastic black wool cloak (is that what you would call it?) with marigold and orange needlework embellishments. Doesn't feel modern, but could be any time. I'm thinking maybe 60's? There are no labels inside at all. What do you think?

Hi Villa, I agree that this could be '60s or '70s - do you have a close up of the detailing? Also - it looks like it has closures: are they frogs or buttons? Thanks.

I agree with Jonathan's dating. My first thought was 1971-1972, but now that he said it, I think it is more 1970-1971 as Jonathan says. One of the small perks of being as old as I am is remembering when we actually wore this stuff or saw it appearing in shops and worn on the street. And the other perks are........???????
