Need help with dating handbag

I found this handbag from my late grandma's and now I am wondering how old it is. The logo says it is Bally and I think it is leather and vintage. Can anyone help?

It looks 1980's to me, I have several Laura Ashley strapless ballgowns with that sort of taffetta ruffle trim around the tops.
