Hello,
I have been looking for information about the maker of these shoes - Robern of New York. I found an advertisement for 1946 shoes being sold in California. That is all I am able to find. They were made for Al Goodman Charlotte Fine Shoes. I did find a newspaper ad for that store from 1952. These shoes are so beautiful. I love the carved wooded heel. The leather is covered in what looks like a finely woven linen or silk fabric. Any opinions as to age would be appreciated. There are two circles stamped on the insole and in one there are the words, "Charm Quality" and in the other the words, "Loveliness Beauty". Thank you!
