hi everyone,

i'm having difficulty dating this beautiful cowgirl blouse. labeled "the alamo of nashville."

i've seen 1940s/1950s sewing patterns/ads with very similar styles, but the slight puff sleeves are throwing me off a bit? i'm fairly new to the vintage world ~ any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Such a demure collar for 1970s! In my experience, western shirt makers went with the same exaggerated pointy collars in the 1970s that everyone else was doing. I have had multiple western shirts for women and men over the years by Rockmount and H-Bar-C with the classic 70s poke-your-eye-out collars.

I would guess mid 1980s, with the puffed sleeve standing in for the fashionable 80s shoulder pads.
