Need help with Levis lot number

Found a pair of levis. Not all that old but the lot number is different from any other I have seen and I'd like to know what it means. Jean's are orange tab. The lot number on patch reads 505-021 V. Thanks

Only the company can tell you exactly, but I'd expect it to be the cut style and dye lot, and perhaps a batch no. I believe 505 is one of their most popular styles, I have seen them referred to as Levi 505's.
 
Yeah, I run across them all the time. Usually they are 505-0215 0r - 0217. The "V" is what I am interested in. Have never seen the V on the patch or can find another Like it. I will check with Levis.
