Need help with possibly vintage skirt

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if this skirt is vintage, please?
I bought it in a charity shop here in Wales, in the UK.
It is clearly made in Italy.
I can see that is says 1972 and I assume that is the date, but just checking.
(Sorry if that's a dumb question, but I am new to all this and trying to learn. Just joined this forum today
and appreciate the opportunity to ask questions :

Cute bohemian style skirt that I think it is fairly recent. A good clue is the care symbols:

If you scroll to the bottom of the 1st post you will see that the care symbols changed to the order on your skirt's label in 2012.

I agree, it looks fairly recent - to me another clue is that wide knit waistband, that's a style I've seen come up in the last few years. It says "Art" before the number 1972 - I think that means an article (style) number.

Yes, I agree with the others - and ART 1972 is likely an internal number that coincidentally looks like a date. As much as I wished that fashion came with dates, it almost never happens. Even when apparel is dated, the makers code it so the public can't read it. Fashion companies don't wish to make their stock look last season in case they want to keep selling it.
