Need Help With This College? Sweater

I got this sweater in a lot of items on ebay. The sweater is purple knit wool. It has Phoenicians 54 on it - does that date it to the 50's?? What college do you think it's from and is it worth listing??

I dont know much about it but I would list it if I was you. I sold a cardigan wool lettermans sweater back in December from the 40's and not in the best of shape and it sold for almost $100! They are becoming popular right now. You can also do an advanced search to see what some of them have gone for in the last 30 days. Good luck!

The Greek alphabet descended from the Phoenician alphabet, so perhaps it's has to do with a college fraternity-

Yeah, those old letter sweaters do oddly well. You may at least pay for the whole purchase there.
