Hey there my sweet vintie friends!

Can you spare a minute to help me figure out how to list this crazy cool belt & matching headband?

I aquired this at an estate sale and the daughter told me her mother got it on a trip to Hawaii in the 60's. Now, I don't ever seem to do well with accessories, but I think this is about the coolest belt I have ever seen. I would SURELY keep it if it fit me. If this is going to go for a pittance I would just as soon keep it to display with my dresses that are missing their belts.

It is handcrafted with beads or seeds???How can I list this to get it the credit it deserves, or am I just being partial cause I love it so much? What do you all think?

Oh, wow, Timber, the look of it on the dress form is stunning! I had a necklace like this in the 70s and agree that they're seeds. I never knew what kind, though. I just found this auction calling the small ones "Hawaiian koa seeds." I have no clue on the larger seeds. ?

Thanks Steph! I have just gathered that these are Koa seeds and coffee beans. (Thanks Sue!) The necklace in that auction is gorgeous, shame they are selling it for that little. :( I will keep this one before I sell it for change. Le sigh...

Here's my necklace i picked up a few months ago. i must say yours are much cooler -- you have the whole ensemble going : )

shame they don;t go for much as the workmanship was probably no joke to accomplish. oh well, maybe someday : )
