Need Help with Vintage Belt Buckles

Hello

Can some one help me with these belt buckles? Are they from the 30's. Both are made of metal and have no markings. Thanks

No these are both antique. The rectangular one looks to me like a shoe buckle (which are curved) that has been converted for a belt by changing the sort of pin, and is decorated with faceted cut steel cabouchons.
The buckle on the right is one half of a pair, the other side usually matches in design and would have the 'eye' half of the fastening to which that loop would fit into. It's a bit unsual, to me at least, because the top looks like prongs which are decorative only, made to resemble claws.

I agree they are older than the 1930s. The cut steel looks a lot like a millinery buckle or possibly a small sash (belt) buckle. Millinery buckles had similar sharp pins which poked right through the hat band as you wound the fabric through the buckle. Generally, the cut steel adornments fell out of favor around the mid 1920s.
