Has anyone ever seen this label? I believe the slip is from the 1960's, but it is unlike any label I have seen. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so very much!! Marti

Possibly earlier, can you post a picture of the entire slip please?

are the adjusters metal or plastic?

any other tags, side seam, fabric content or union labels?

hi Marti,

very late 50's/early 60's vote.....and it's a gown, not technically a slip, from the looks of those straps. Several companies did higher end lingerie with those organdy type labels, VF gold label, Hollywood Vassarette which merged with Munsingwear, and others I can't remember this late, I'll check in the am. Seems like it was done as competition with some other, higher end line like Lucy Anne or similar. What's the length on the gown/slip??

Seems someone else had something with that particular Munsingwear label recently, but it's not in the Label Resource, so I'm only guessing, but I'd say 60s on this. Really pretty lace treatment, and Munsingwear was a great name!

Yep, that's the one I'm thinking of! I remember 'cuz I LOVE red, and that gown is 2die4! It looks decidedly 50s to me, so the white one, I'm thinking, is later.

That label should probably be put in the label resource, do you think????

Thank you all for your help. I listed it as a nightgown and I agree with y'all on circa 1960s.

Wore those 60's clothes, but I don't recall anything like this piece.

Y'all are great!! Marti
