Need more info on an exquisite MALCOLM STARR Blouse

I need some more info on this exquisite find. This blouse is almost new looking. Could this piece have been in a box for 40 years and come out looking like this? The print is so gorgeous, it pops out to the viewer. Buttons are fabric covered, snap at hem and double snaps at cuffs. Im computer illiterate; I don't know how to rotate the pictures. Thanks

Hi, I am not an expert by any means, but that appears to me to be polyester. My experience with polyester is that pieces from the 70's are brand-new and bright if they were properly stored and cared for by previous owner(s). I'm sure some real experts will be along to help soon. Also, lovely blouse!
