Need some confirmation-40s necklace

I have a necklace that I'm thinking is 40s modernist. It's copper, unsigned. The feature that makes me think it's 40s is the spring ring on the clasp (also that Renoir copper jewelry was prevalent in the 40s/early 50s?). I put a composite photo in here, with an insert of a newer spring ring, with an arrow pointing to the "protrusion/handle" I'm referring to. It lacks the little protrusion that the newer spring rings have that makes it easier to open it. I did take it to an antique shop owner who confirmed this but I need some opinions here! Thanks in advance.

i have found an almost identical copper necklace in a reference book, its listed as "copper chain pendant necklace 1950s", and has exactly the same chain, so that looks to be original. but i don't think the spring clip is original, the necklace i found has a bar that opens up and then clips through the last link, very much like the 50s bracelets. be careful, as many times i have found vintage costume jewels, looked at the clasps or ring bolts and thought "mmm that doesn't look right" and when i tested it, found it to be 9ct gold! people used to tinker with their jewels and change the fittings and clasps all the time.

That's great. Thanks. I'll look for more opinions before I properly date this. It does look like "Beatnik" jewelry! The clasp you are talking about sounds like a "foldover" clasp. :)

...however I have some more I need help with:
This piece is a seed bead choker, made in Italy. I always thought these were from the 40s. It has a tarnished brass hook closure and an extender.
40s? or 50s?
=-)

i thought 50s to start with but the white beads at the ends with the metal links makes me think older, could be 30s / 40s, very very pretty

I hate clogging up forums with a lot of threads, so here's my latest conundrum:
This necklace is making me crazy:
The pearls are glass pearls (it's heavy)
The spacers are cut crystal, like Victorian, Edwardian and 20s jewelry
It's a short, choker style
Strung on bead chain
Hook closure with extender--connectors look like they might not be the original
Let me know if bigger photo is needed.
=-)

I replied about the last one on your other thread. I agree the other pieces are C. 1950's. I, too, tend to date spring rings without the "thumb thingie" earlier and agree that the chain "might" be a replacement but the pendant is definitely 1950's. The seed bead necklace is post WWII- and most likely very early 1950's. The extender and hook are probably original. (If they are not original and it had a different closure it could be slightly earlier but I think it's '50's.)
