need some help with a couple of things Please

I went to a yard sale at a Church the other day. Usually they only have one a year and I only find a couple of items but usually very good items. I missed it this year and saw they were having another. Well there was all kinds of vintage clothing seems some lady member went to a nursing home so they decided to have another sale. I filled up with some much needed stock! She had beautiful things Like the raincoat in the other post.

Any ways this blouse, is this needle or hairpin lace?

Now this talbots sweater I was thinking 40's and looked up Talbots they went into business in 47 It just doesn't seem like the sweater girl sweaters my mom had. The buttons are tiny.
Its lamb and fur fiber ( what ever that is) The collar I found and put with the sweater I thought it looked good together. And both are tiny! I haven't even checked yet I don't know if its real fur.

Oh wow I didn't even notice that. Well off to look up that one.
 
Just came to me... Who was the designer that designed the Talbott traveler? I think that might be the same talbott!
 
I would say both are 50s Pauline. Love that sweater and the collar
with it is terrific.

The blouse is machine made needlelace.

Lovely stuff. I found that Givenchy designed some sweaters for Talbott over on the Label Resource. I don't think the store and this label are one in the same...

Pauline that cardi is a killer, LOVE the colour!!!

I agree that the collar could be auctioned off separately....I didn't recognize right away the double T's as there is a British maker by the name of Talbots as well.....Right Margaret????
