Need some help with this debonair robe

I want to get this listed on ebay this week for Valentines day because of the lush red satin lining. I also want to add it to the mens section of the lingerie resource. Might as well add some mens robes. Do you think this is late 40's the shoulders have slight padding and so do the cuffs and lapel. I don't believe its ever been worn.

I'm no help with the date Pauline. These robes all look anywhere from
40s to 60s to me.

I remember last year that men's smoking jackets and robes did very well
prior to Valentine's day and the red lining and piping on this is wonderful.

I like that! Reminds me of the 50s black jacket w/ red lining I have.

I don't have a clue to pinpoint date more accurately though. It looks so luxurious!
