Need your help again dating Pink party dress

I've been getting better on dating items. Mostly from reading this forum and soaking up what I can. I'm not sure about this dress. No maker label; only a label that says to dry clean only and a 13/14 size tag. How would I describe the lace? I'd say it was a party or prom dress. Any better key words? Thanks as always for your help.

It looks pretty safely 80s doing a 40s revival style to me.

I forgot to mention that the size tag was paper. When did they stop using the paper labels? Does this change your opinion. I was guessing at least 70's.

It looks just like a bridesmaid gown I was forced to wear at my brother's wedding in the early 80s, LOL!

Totally 80s. Those big butt bows were all the rage, remember?

Some clothes still have paper labels.

As for people liking it, as my grandmother always said, "There's a lid for every pot."

Onceoza, I agree with the others dating to the 80s. It looks like a very flattering-to-the-figure dress to wear. I would describe the dress as having a strapless underbodice with a fitted, short sleeve lace bodice. Sorry can't see if underbodice is truly strapless or not and I know of no specific name for the lace. But I hope this helps.

Onceoza, I will admit that my sister and I didn't like the dresses at the time but my tastes have changed over the years.
