New In Box Vintage Penney's Towncraft Western Shirt - Question

Hi everyone. I was hoping someone here could help answer a few questions I have on a shirt I have.
When it was made
About what it's worth
Is it more desirable being in the box, with the pins and cardboard attached

Anyway, I have a red and black western Penney's Towncraft shirt size large 16 - 16 1/2 with a western clip on Royal bow tie, and it's in the box.

The shirt still has the cardboard on the collar and metal pins holding it together, should I keep the shirt as it is? I'm planning on selling it, will it matter that I don't have the measurements or should I take the pins out to take measurements?

Thanks

I would leave the pinned shirt in the box., BUT check to be sure the pins haven't been exposed to moisture and are not rusting. Sizing for men's clothing is much more standardized, so most potential buyers will know if that is the right size. You can find a size chart online that will give actual measurements of that size if needed. We do not do price evaluations here, but you can check sold prices on e-Bay for similar items. In my experience western styles are always in some demand.

Hi Marian. Can you recommend a website that has a size chart, I'm new to the clothes thing. Would you say this was made in the 50s or 60s, or earlier?

Thanks

Hi Marian. Thanks for the links. I wasn't sure how to figure out the sleeve length, your first link helped with that.
From your second link, it looks like the shirt may be from the 1950s, awesome.

Thanks :)

If anyone is interested, I listed the shirt on ebay under the title: Vintage NOS Western Long Sleeve Shirt with Royal Bow Tie - Penney's Towncraft

Thanks
