After a somewhat frantic few months, I decided to take a bit of a break yesterday and write up a few dresses for auction, ones I've really needed to trim from my bursting storage for a while.

There are more to come, but these are up first as my camera is still bust, and I'm having to make do with old pictures in some cases.

All great, almost mint condition in some cases, and, I think, at some fairly reasonable prices...

That dramatic plunge on that 80s dress with the lace bodice is definitely not for the meek. wowsers.

BTW, what color is that L'aiglon? It looks like a champagne-y color on my monitor...

It's possibly a little warmer than shown there, Chris - honey tinged champagne. That was a shot I randomly took with my semi-broken camera (light /focus settings all wonky) before I moved. With the light as bad as it is at the moment, I doubt anything would show up if I took more pics with that camera now.

I'm hoping some of these find approval on Ebay, as I just need to clear some space, and some of these are going at a loss. My buying / selling patterns aren't very economically tuned... :(

Yup, I need a hip transplant for that one too - it's hung around for a time while I contemplated the impossibleness of it - it fits more petitely than it measures. Ah well, I do well enough at acquiring too much clothing that I could possibly have the excuse to wear...

Gawd, love that gold brocade! Too bad I am not statuesque to match it.... Well, seeing these lovely pieces has definitely made up my mind--today is the Monday I really, really start my diet & exercise program!!!!!
