NEW QUESTION! Auction pulled - not 1, not 2 but 3 infractions!

I came home this morning and checked my ebay and noticed the mod swirly dress with belted front that was getting bids and attention was not there. I checked my messages and I had three from ebay saying the auction was pulled: 1st because I put Pucci-like in the title, 2nd because I listed other items available for sale by date and designer name near the bottom of the auction listing (I wasn't aware this was a no no) and, last but not least, because I have a blurb at the end of my sales directing people to the VFG and I put "Vintage Fashion Guild dot org" - they say this is a direct link???

Pucci-esque is not on their taboo list; so perhaps I'll try that - the first time I had the auction up, I did not use Pucci and I had I high bid of $11.00; this time I was up to about 25.00 and five days to go; so putting it in the title really helped to get the dress noticed.

So off to do a bunch of deleting before they pull all my other auctions...

Deborah that does suck! But I would avoid any kind of Pucci'ism in the title.

The Pucci police will pull all listings :(

I agree that you should avoid any reference to Pucci in your title. You can refer to him once in your description.

Oops! Sorry for the confusion! The link I had posted earlier is for VFG members use. I'm not sure of EBay's rules regarding recommending other places to shop, but you're probably safer putting that on your About Me page if you've got one.

I think your list with other designer's names is considered KWS (keyword spamming), as those searching descriptions for designer names will turn up your dress, which is not one of those designer's works.
You can encourage people to check your other auctions for "more great designer fashions".

Oh yuck, Deborah that rots!!

Pucci-esque got something of mine pulled, so don't even spell the name backwards in the title! Also, I think Jody has mistaken you for a trade member with the logo information. Does someone know how Deborah can list the VFG, if at all?

Those :censored2: Pucci police - LOL

I must admit, I knew I was pushing the envelope on the Pucci-like, it was the other two that threw me. Lesson learned and "more great designer fashions" to be seen on auctions at chezmov soon!

THX!

This is what I used to have before I put the "dot org" at the end. Do you think it would be pulled? I"m getting a few auctions ready.

If we don't have what you're looking for,
please check out the good folks at the

THANKS!
