I guess I'm wondering are these early in a decade or later....

and I'm just showing this cause it is so awesome:

Thanks!

The first pic of the blue coat could be on the cusp - 1939 or early 40's. The green dress is 40's but probably not later than '46. Do I see belt loops?

The second dress looks like it might be velveteen (silk and cotton) and is mid to late 20's.

The third picture of the black or navy coat coat is a bit more difficult to date. It's got some 30's detailing going on - the silk/satin? pleats on the sleeves and some late Art Deco influences. The little collar also hints at the 30's. It looks to be broad at the shoulders so the cut may be for a larger figure. I don't think it is pre 1920.

Any labels in any of them? They all look to be in really excellent condition. Three very classic pieces. The 20's dress is a real find.

The third one is a slip over dress, very full Bust 44.
I think I'll clip is just a tad and retake the pics.....
Here is the back:

The 2nd is silk velvet.
Thanks for the help.

The third navy dress might well have had a fabric sash to belt it in loosely at the high hip. I am thinking 1920 - 1922 or so. Nice detail.

The first coat 1938 - 1939, the velevt 1920s dress, mid 20s.

All very nice and excellent photos!

Oooh just goes to show what a difference 'a back view' makes! Well, yes it probably is kissing the 20's. Not 30's. It has the button detailing that was such a feature in the previous decade. Still has the Art Deco influence going on. I'd need to dig into the lining and construction. It would not have been tied. Could be a 'mourning coat.'

I love it.
