Hello, and thank you for looking at my post. I am definitely a new kid when it comes to shopping for vintage, but I found some interesting pieces and was hoping that maybe someone here with a bit more expertise might be able to help! First I found this great blue and black hounds tooth skirted suit set ($10.90), I'm guessing that it may be late 70's, the skirt also falls to about mid-calf. Then I found another skirted suit set, which is the label that reads Patra ($8.90), I'm guessing that this one might me from the late 50's-early 60's (a tv show I recently worked on used similar style clothing). Lastly the Harve Bernard coat, this one I am unsure about. It has a made in China label, and also has sizing written in Spanish, but either way I dig the coat. So any information that anyone could give would be greatly appreciated! Best to all ---Amanda

The Pendleton suit looks 80s to me because of the cutaway front to the jacket and the double breasted buttons, and the Patra also looks to be 80s from what I can see... The coat is nice quality but things only really started being made in China in the mid 1990s, so this coat dates from within the last 15 years.

Hi Amanda. Welcome to the VFG forum :)

It is probably not a good idea to try to date garments based on style alone. I think all of your items are probably late 80/90s or newer. The pendleton may be an exception, but the cut of the jacket and buttons look newer than 70s.

The labels on the other garments rule out 50s & 60s. You would not see such label info on items of that age.
