New Workshops Coming Soon

Vintage Fashion Guild is pleased to announce that our popular workshops are BACK this year! The first workshop will be presented by VFG member Jonathan Walford of Kickshaw Productions.

Jonathan has held curatorial positions with several institutions, including with the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto where he was curator for eleven years. His book, The Seductive Shoe, was published last year. In 2004, he conducted a VFG workshop on vintage shoes. This time he will be presenting a workshop on paper dresses.

Coming Soon: On June 23-25, Lizzie Bramlett will be presenting her workshop about the evolution of sportswear. More information will be forthcoming with a reminder as this workshop draws near.

Just giving this a bump. I am really looking forward to this! I've been reading the previous workshops and found that there is a lot of wonderful info, but many of the picture links are broken. Is there anyway we can impose on the presenters to fix the links? I know it's a lot of work, but I would love to see those images!

Hi there. We are trying to fix many of the photos so hopefully many will be back up soon. As for any future workshops, we will be hosting them ourselves or on a vfg account, so there won't be that problem again.
