Ang - it's not worth it to go out on NYE, anyway. As a (former) bartender, we always called it "Amateur night".

Just a bunch of drunk yahoos and WAY dangerous getting home, even sober.

Better to stay home & let the kiddo bang on pots & pans at midnight - you only get to piss off the neighbors like that once a year!
