I just received this in my mailbox and thought i would pass along. I love classic/vintage/obscure cinema like this and know other people do too

Well lucky you!

What i miss about a major metropolitan area is film festivals and theaters. there is something about it that is missing when you just rent a bunch of movies.

And you don't get the live piano player for the silent films, either. Unless you want to play the piano yourself.:wacko:

Some cable channels have a soundtrack to silent films at 3 am....but not nearly like the real thing. I still think one of the best things was seeing Lawrence of Arabia on a giant screen. Good thing they sold a lot of bottled water - the power of suggestion is very strong and watching a movie taking place in a desert really does make you dehydrated!
