Nightgown - what era?

Hello vintage experts,
I would value your opinion about this garment. I am thinking it's a nightgown, although I think I will sell it as a dress. It is silk, sewn with French seams, pin tucks behind the neck, peek a boo keyhole in sleeves (I have turned the sleeve edges inside and slip stitched as they were torn). I love the little collar, and wonder if it could be as old as 20s? It has that look.

I have a 30s rayon crepe nightgown very reminiscent of this in its detailing, so I agree with the above. getting more specific I see more towards the early 30s, too, but my opinion is not professional.

I'm seeing more of a late 20s look too. I have had similar nightgowns in the past that had tiny silk loops located lower than the actual waistline where the same silk or rayon belt went through. I wonder if this may have been meant to be a maternity nightie as yours doesn't have the small loops.
