No tags....help me date this please?

This is a really cute suit which reminds me of a St. Johns. Alas, there are no tags. I'm clueless as to date. The skirt is pretty short and it's very swingy. The jacket is lined with what looks like some kind of reptile or faux reptile. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

The faux reptile with the short skirt makes me think 80s.

Rather a cool combination with that lining (I'm a sucker for
unique linings & trims)

The short full skirt, the Nancy Reagan red colour, and the reptile trim all add up to 80s in my book, late 80s.
