It looks like it's a men's jacket? My kneejerk reaction, based on the fairly bold plaid and the print lining is late 60s/early 70s, but I could be way off. Some detail photos may help - buttons and buttonholes, type of lining (full or partial), fabric (knit vs woven)
the direction of the button openings also says menswear.
