norma kamali 80s dress

Hello,

Came across this dress and thought it was pretty fab. However, the bottom hem is interesting - do you think it's supposed to just hang there like that? Like a little pouch on each side?

I'm pretty sure this is 80's, but early or late I am not sure.

Any thoughts? I can see it with a pair of leather leggings, stilettos and a lace bralette.

Very cool piece! It's not uncommon for Kamali garments to have exaggerated hip pockets or shoulders like that, some of her draping can be very voluminous!

Just google some of her silhouettes. I would safely say 80s.

I do think the hem is meant to be like that because it imitates the 'sleeve' shape.
