Norman Hartnell Coat.....Dating help and repair wonders?

Hi Everyone,
I found this great coat by Norman Hartnell and don't see a Label Resource Listing for that particular label and would like to submit it with a specific date.

Also interested in any opinions regarding what to do with the two rips in the otherwise lovely lining prior to listing this for sale.

Nice coat! I would repair the rip before selling. I can only see one in your photo but it wouldn't be hard to repair. Looks '50s but I'd have to see it on to see the shoulder line better to narrow it down. It's very stylised so I'm someone can narrow it down more.

It strikes me as late 50s too - sack-back like.
