Not fashion - but a rather odd vintage Santa

Am I wrong to think this is a strange mix? I assume that's a tipsy Santa swinging on the lamp post - and in the lantern is a snow globe effect with Mary and the baby Jesus. Half the water is gone, but it still works. I'm guessing it was made in Japan or somewhere where they didn't quite "get" Christmas?

I have friend who collects vintage snow globes. Many have half the water left, making the 'shaking' have a very strange effect.

Now Amanda, Santa is not tipsy, Santa is "merry." ;)
